A Night in the 50's

Max's school held a "50's Sock Hop" fundraiser for Relay for Life. Here's what the Rosa Family may have looked like if we lived in the 50's.

Onnies....Here we Come!

Max has a ceramic bank shaped like an Elephant which has been given the name of "Annie - The Elephant"...Now Max will ONLY refer to those large gray mammals as "Onnies"....his version of Annie Thanks so much for the Awesome trip to the Circus, Mimi and Marwyn!

A Bit of a Blockage

We're not sure why...but sometimes you need to block yourself in to the tunnel with a big pile of toys.

Diaper Wedgie

Max has become increasingly obsessed with taking his clothes off and putting them back on (the "back on" part is tedious). During one of his "clothes off" moments, I noticed he was in what looked to be an uncomfortable situation....

Jared's Masterpiece

During "Dr. Suess Week" at school, Max's Daddy really went all out for "Crazy outfit day". He created this lovely ensemble and Max was the unanimous winner of Craziest Outfit....

Who put Easter so early this year?

The snow flurries sent the egg hunt indoors but Max (and Mickey) didn't mind a bit.

Each time Max "found" (picked up in plain view) an egg, he
put his basket down and we all clapped enthusiastically.

He definitely approved of Great Grandpa's cheering response.

Hop Hop Comes to town

Hop Hop brought me this cool lawnmower that blows bubbles...."Wonder if bubbles will make the grass shorter?"

Mama and Papa got me this cool new hat! I will later learn
that this hat can also double as a ball catching device ;)

Easter Egg Hunt Distractions

When we "encouraged" Max to look for eggs in the grass, his face looked like this:
Because....we made him walk past this and did not let him stop to play....we quickly decided that
we'd give the rest of the kids some extra egg opportunities and let Max play...he was all smiles
after that. I guess slides are more exciting than eggs. :)
