Cereal Time! Max's first "Big-Boy" meal

BEFORE....notice a clean baby ready for dinner
Yummy!
This stuff is so yummy...I'll try it in my nose...probably tastes good there too!

Another Approach
I may not have the whole chewing up or swallowing thing down but I think if I just poke the cereal down with my handy dandy fingers here...that'll work the same, right?
Opps! Lost a little on the bib there. That's alright, I can probably just lick it off my bib later anyway.
Even better...I'll see if I can get both hands and the spoon in my mouth at once...that'll surely make it go faster!

Mr. Independent
Ok, Parents...you are doing a fine job but just give me the spoon...let me take care of this eating business.
See...I've got it...all you need to know is that the yellow stick goes in the drool making machine...

Fred Bird chats with Max
"Fred Bird...do you think I could come to St. Louis to catch a game next summer?"
"Fred Bird...do you think I could pull on your red feathers for a while?"

Murphysboro Apple Festival
Max got to experience his first ever Murphysboro Apple Festival this weekend. The Applefest is one of Mommy's favorite traditions from home so we couldn't wait to take Max to the Boro for his first applefest. The theme this year was "Famous Firsts"....very fitting for Mr. Max. He got to meet Captain Applesauce and enjoy the Appletime Grand Parade. The Grand Parade did cut into Little Buddy's naptime but it didn't seem to bother him. He snoozed right through the marching bands, drums, and fire trucks. He did wake up in time to enjoy the end of the parade and to visit with Adyson.
It was a great weekend for all and he told us he can't wait to go back next year!

Rub a Dub Dub - Bathing in the Hotel "Tub"?

Taking a bath in the hotel last weekend. I think someone told Max this was his own personal hot tub lounging experience. I swear we didn't pose this....It's all him!
Laughing it up in the "tub".

Senior Pics
This reminds me of the classic senior picture pose...I guess it's also the 4 month old Max pose.
Apparently senior picture posing is funny!
What's Daddy doing over there? Am I missing something?
