Max's Big Boy Bed

Amazingly enough...this child was still sleeping in his crib as of last Wednesday night! Due to the fact that he's starting to get squashed in there and the fact that a new resident will need to take the crib over in the next couple of months...it was high time that Mr. Max move in to his big boy room. Night #1 went great (fingers crossed that he continues to enjoy his new room).

We started out Labor Day weekend off with a sneak peak of Baby Boy #2 at my 30 week ultrasound. We were so thankful to get a wonderful report from Fran (our ultrasound tech) and even some "extras"...she showed us a little baby mullet of hair on his head and lots of pictures of his big chubby cheeks. Big Brother Max was very excited to see Baby Brother on the "tv". His excitement lasted about 5 min. and then he was much more interested in treats and "prizes" from his Mama. Mama and Papa took Max home with them for the first part of the weekend to allow Mommy and Daddy time to work on his "big boy room" and to sneek in a 6 year anniversary date :) Thank you Mama and Papa! Max had a fabulous time going to the castle park, playing in the rain, watering flowers and visiting with Papa Clem. Mommy and Daddy came up for the last part of the weekend and enjoyed lots of State Fair Fun in DuQuoin.
