The Marshals completed a great 2007 season with a heartbreaking loss in the region finals. Max and Jude were great fans this season. Although...sometimes...the fans are more interested in tamborines and chicken nuggets than soccer. :)

Murphysboro Apple Festival 2007

We represented the Apple Festival theme "Spririt of America" by dressing the babies up as
"Miniature Representations of this Great Nation" (somehow I did not get a picture of that quote on the float)
Max played the miniature Cowboy. We had a Cowgirl, Statue of Liberty, Indians, baseball player, firefighter, Olympic swimmer, Miss America, Air Force Captains, Uncle Sam, and Abe Lincoln. Max had a great time riding in the parades and didn't figure out he could pull the tissue paper out of the float until the very end of the second parade. :) Our cowboy hat only went overboard once.

Valerie and Mike officially became Mr. and Mrs. Pifer on August 18th, 2007. We enjoyed their beautiful ceremony and reception at a winery in Southern Illinois. We all had a greattime and were so glad to be able to share in this wonderful couple's special day. Max especially enjoyed the dance floor.
